Maya Mushroom Ltd. Co. ("Maya Mushroom," "we," "us") runs mayamushroom.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

• Email signups: your email address when you join our list or request the cookbook.
• Text message signups: your phone number, only if you check the SMS consent box.
• Contact form: your name, email, subject, message, and any files you attach.
• Orders: checkout runs on Shopify at checkout.mayamushroom.com. Shopify collects your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone, and payment details to process your order. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: if you accept cookies, our advertising and analytics tools collect information like pages viewed, products viewed or added to cart, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, and referring site.

• To fill and ship orders and answer your messages.
• To send emails and texts you signed up for. You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in every email, and stop texts by replying STOP.
• To measure our ads and improve the site, only if you accept cookies.
• To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.

We use these service providers to run the business:

• Shopify: product catalog, cart, checkout, and order processing.
• Klaviyo: email and SMS marketing.
• Supabase: secure storage of contact form messages and attachments.
• Web3Forms: delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
• Cloudflare: website security and bot protection.
• Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram): advertising measurement, only if you accept cookies.
• Lovable: website hosting.

Sharing usage data with Google and Meta for advertising may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time (see Your choices). We do not sell your email address, phone number, or order history.

• When you first visit, we ask before turning on advertising and analytics cookies. If you decline, those tools do not load.
• You can change your choice anytime with "Your Privacy Choices" in the footer.
• We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as a decline.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email. Text: reply STOP.

We keep contact form messages and attachments only as long as needed to respond and handle any follow-up. We keep order records as long as required for tax and accounting. Marketing contacts stay on our list until you unsubscribe.

Contact form data is stored in a private database and private file storage that the public cannot access. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information like card numbers through the contact form.

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. Email grow@mayamushroom.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
